Artworld also offers oil painting commissions if you want a customised art work.
We don’t work through Galleries. As a result, our overheads are lower. We pass the savings on to you. So you can get a real Oil Painting for a lot less than you might think.

You may like to have an Oil Painting of a subject that is dear to you. It may be a special place, or a special person. Or it could be a style and colours that you would love to have. Many of our customers have chosen a special subject and we have had it painted for them. You can see the excellent quality below.
Below you will see some examples of Commissioned Oil Paintings. Typically they are around 70cm wide x 50cm high.
However, we also do Large Custom Wall Art. They are bigger centrepiece paintings, often 150cm or more in width.

You can get a large OIl Painting as Custom Wall Art for your home. Give us your ideas around style and colours, and we will start a dialogue to create a unique piece of Custome Wall Art for you.
Commissioned Oil Painting
Process for Commissioned Oil Paintings with Artworld.ie
1. We discuss the subject you would like to paint. It could be a portrait, a place, or even something abstract.
2. We discuss the style we will paint in. It could be a detailed brush painting, or a more Impressionist Palette Knife painting (most popular).
3. We discuss the size of the painting.
4. Once we are clear on the subject, style, and size of your painting, I can tell you the price, before we do anything.
5. If you are happy to proceed, we take a deposit to start.
6. Painting usually takes around 6 weeks.
7. Once complete, we send you a photo of your painting for approval. Changes are possible, although often not necessary.
8. Once you are happy, we frame your painting, deliver, and hang for you.
You may also book an appointment if you would like to discuss the project. This is especially the case if you want a large painting for a specific wall.
