Portait Size
Usually Portrait Oil Paintings are not as big as our main centre piece Oil Paintings.
A Portrait usually ends up at around 60cm wide. Whereas our Centrepiece Paintings are around 150cm wide.
Usually, we recommend you keep your very big walls for the larger Centrepiece paintings. For example, the big wall behind a sofa, or big wall in the Kitchen. So, your Portrait painting, being smaller, can go in some of the smaller spaces.

Painting Your Portrait
We hand-paint your portrait commission in traditional Oil Paint on Canvas using the agreed style, colours, and composition discussed together previously.
Approval by you.
Once completed, we send you a photo of your Portrait. At this point the painting is still with the artist. So, if there are any changes that you want, we can do that. Once you are happy with everything, your Portrait is allowed to dry, and is sent for framing.
Delivery and Hanging
After we frame your Portrait Oil Painting, we deliver it to your home, and professionally hang it for you as part of our service.

That means our overheads are lower, allowing us to provide real hand-painted portrait oil commissions at much more affordable prices than many people expect. We discuss the size, style, and subject first, then confirm the exact price clearly before starting.
To give some guidance on prices: Our large Centrepiece paintings, measuring 150cm wide, are around €450 including framing.
For a portrait, of one or two people, you can expect to pay around the same, but it will be a smaller painting.
Portraits mean a lot of detail work, so the more people in a Portrait painting, the more work for the artist, and this is reflected in the price.
